Florian Ivan

Florian is a seasoned advisor, senior consultant, and experienced trainer with over 20 years of expertise in enhancing organisational performance through project management. He has held both operational and executive roles across IT and consulting firms, delivering value and strategic insight.

Since 2011, Florian has served as the Managing Director of Rolf Consulting, where he guides clients in improving their project management practices. His prior experience includes managing complex software development and IT infrastructure projects as a Programme Manager for Microsoft Corporation. Florian’s career began in a data analytics startup, giving him a strong foundation in technology and innovation.

A respected figure in the project management community, Florian is known for his professionalism, extensive experience, and ability to connect with clients through storytelling. He is often sought after as an expert and trusted advisor, with clients valuing his hands-on approach and strategic counsel.

Florian holds a degree in data analysis from the University of Oxford and a master’s degree in project management from George Washington University. He is also certified in several leading project management methodologies, including PMP, IPMA Level B, Stanford Certified Project Manager, Prince2 Practitioner, PMI-ACP, CSM, CSP, DASSM, DAC, and MCTS. Fluent in English, French, and German, he works seamlessly across diverse international environments.

His passion for project management has also led him to volunteer for various leadership roles with the Project Management Institute, where he contributes to the advancement of the profession.
