Green Project Management
The “Green Project Management” training course is designed to equip project managers with the tools and knowledge to lead projects in a way that aligns with sustainability principles. Focusing on the intersection of project management and environmental responsibility, the course begins with an introduction to sustainability and its importance in modern business practices. Participants will explore the UN Global Compact and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), understanding how these frameworks guide sustainable development initiatives globally.
A key component of the training is the PRiSM methodology (Projects integrating Sustainable Methods), a project management approach that incorporates sustainability throughout the project lifecycle. Attendees will gain practical insights into the PRiSM project lifecycle and learn how to conduct P5 impact analyses, which assess the impact of projects on People, Planet, Prosperity, Process, and Product.
The course also covers the creation of a sustainability management plan, ensuring that sustainability goals are integrated into the business case and project planning. To conclude the training, participants will be prepared for the GPM-b (Green Project Manager – Basic) exam, demonstrating their proficiency in green project management principles and their ability to lead sustainable projects.
